Deposed as defense expert in a matter in California state court concerning a dispute between a petroleum company and the actions taken by the State of California, California Department of Health Services (CDHS), based on the following report on which I served as coauthor, reflecting work I performed on behalf of CDHS at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory as a University of California employee, in collaboration with the University of California at Davis:

The Carroll Independent Fuel Company et al. before the Circuit Court for Frederick County, Maryland, concerning alleged chronic human exposures primarily to the gasoline additive (fuel oxygenate) chemical methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE) in groundwater, Docket # 10-C-10-0890, Circuit Court for Frederick County, MD.
